Desert Caravan Trek – Deep Sahara, November 16–23, 2024
A week of silence, sand, and profound simplicity. In autumn 2024, we guided a small group through the hidden landscapes of the Moroccan Sahara on a unique walking and camel-supported expedition. Starting from Marrakesh, we crossed the High Atlas Mountains, visited the palm groves of Agdz, and spent four full days immersed in the desert—with nomadic guides, personal camels, and nothing but the sky above us.
This journey was more than a hike—it was a true retreat. Each day we walked 15–20 kilometers, set up camp under the stars, baked bread in the sand, shared quiet mornings at sunrise, and embraced the rhythm of the dunes. It was a slow, meaningful passage—not only through nature, but through something quieter within ourselves.
Below is a selection of images—echoes of the desert’s stillness, movement, and memory.
